...And that's exactly what they're getting after falling 3-1 to the New Jersey Devils Monday night. Freakin' Brendan Shanahan picked this game to come back into the NHL and scored - no one will ever score more goals against the Predators. This team is struggling, unable to put together enough to beat a good team since they took down Detroit back in December.
So now comes the All Star Break. Shea Weber will represent the Predators. Maybe General Manager David Poile will make some moves to get some offense, but I'm not betting on it (Like I bet a dollar the Preds would win tonight).
The one thing I'd like to see down the stretch is the fans supporting the team through thick and thin. Fans booed the team Saturday night during a pathetic effort. Tonight, even though there was a good sized crowd for a Monday night (14,848), it was dead in the Sommet Center. And booing became fashionable like a lot of bad things do in Nashville. Let's remember this is the team we fought to keep. Let's support it.
